HISTORY
Whittier
Square Building is a unique multi-story office building nested
in a quaint suburban area. WSB is a six-story plus penthouse
office building constructed in 1964 and containing a net rentable
area of approximately 81,000 square feet. Secured parking is
provided in a two-level parking garage; open parking for visitors.
The building enjoys a tri-street frontage to Penn, Friend Avenue
and Washington Avenue, all located within the City of Whittier.
There is a lush landscaped area to the south and westerly side
of the building, and the easterly side of the building.
Parking
- The parking structure is located at the northerly portion
of the site and has direct accessibility from both the first
and second floors. Parking is secured by electronic gates, with
elevator access during business hours.
Bathrooms
- Two restrooms are located on each floor with handicapped restrooms
on the fourth floor.
Exits – WSB provides three exits
stairs – one located at the south of the building, one
in the middle, and a third located at the north of the building
adjacent to the service elevator.
Amenities – The building is
in excellent condition and has no deferred maintenance. WSB
also houses a community room as well as a conference room, both
of which are equipped with – TV, VCR and DVD players for
the tenants use. A cozy lunch room can be found on the third
floor.
Overall – The building is a
well maintained office building that is extremely functional
in design to suit the needs of office users. The current management
is intensely involved in the day-to-day operations; and such
involvement does reflect the building's ongoing maintenance
program.
